30 years ago, Bremen was the first freight traffic centre (GVZ) location in Germany and is now Europe’s leading centre of this kind. It is part of what is known as the Northern Range, which includes the ports from Le Havre to Hamburg that handle around 80% of European imports and exports.

The GVZ Bremen is in the centre of the German section of the Northern Range, which in addition to Bremen also includes the ports in Hamburg, Wilhelmshaven and Bremerhaven.

The proximity to the Mercedes-Benz and Airbus plants makes the GVZ Bremen extremely attractive for suppliers from the automotive and aerospace industries, for example.

Attractive spaces available from January 2025
Attractive spaces for logistics and warehousing will become available at this strategically highly valuable location on 1 January 2025, when units 5 and 6 in the Goodman Bremen Logistics Centre can be rented with a total area of 20,000 m2 (approx. 10,000 m2 each).

Design involvement still possible
At Goodman, a dedicated team organises a continuous retrofitting process to ensure that the properties are and remain future-proofed.

The Bremen Logistics Centre is also currently being updated, with office and social areas being created as part of these measures. Potential clients can still be involved in the design of these additional spaces (330 m2 per unit) and so adapt them to their individual requirements.

The property is also being retrofitted with LED lighting and electric vehicle charging points. Smart metering has for some time already enabled energy consumption to be controlled and optimised.

Great trimodal transport connections
Both the connections to the motorway and rail networks as well as the proximity to the sea ports of Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven make the GVZ Bremen the ideal location for logistics in northern Europe and worldwide. The planned Weser Tunnel on the A281 will open up further benefits. Air freight can be handled via nearby Bremen Airport.
