Efficient warehouse logistics in the Rhine-Main metropolitan region

The Rhine-Main region is one of the eleven European metropolitan regions in Germany – and one of the strongest business locations in this country. Here, in the centre of the triangle bounded by Frankfurt, Darmstadt and Aschaffenburg, Goodman has built an innovative logistics centre in conveniently located Eppertshausen. The property is available for occupation from July 2022.

With its strategically excellent location, the site offers the best logistics conditions for companies from e-commerce, retail and industry. The Eppertshausen Logistics Centre is situated on an industrial estate in the rapidly growing economic environment of the Rhine-Main region.

The Eppertshausen Logistics Centre at a glance:

  • Modern and sustainable logistics hall in a central German location
  • Approx. 9.200 m² logistics space in prime location
  • Approx. 470 m² office and social space
  • Hall height of 10 m
  • 14 loading gates
  • Floor load 5 t/m²
  • 25 car parking spaces
  • 24/7 use
  • 5 km to the A3 autobahn

Great transport connections

Eppertshausen is ideally integrated into the Rhine-Main metropolitan regions. In addition to connections to several junctions along the A3 autobahn and three major federal roads (B459, B486 and B45), the location is only 30 minutes from Frankfurt am Main airport and the city of Frankfurt.

There are also convenient rail connections to local and long-distance transport routes. The waterways – the Rhine and the Main are among the most important inland waterways in Europe – are accessible via ports in Frankfurt am Main and Aschaffenburg.

Attractive catchment area

Our partners at the Eppertshausen site will benefit from a highly attractive catchment area, from which 4.2 million people in 2.1 million households are just one hour's drive away by truck. These households spend 1.9 billion euros annually on clothing, for example, and 6.7 billion euros on food and beverages.

Well-being factors for employees

Well-being factors play a major role in the competition for employees. That is why we support our partners through attractively designed social areas. With their sustainably landscaped gardens, the outdoor areas invite you to linger. Relaxing breaks are also possible in the nearby conservation area. There are also good public transport connections – Eppertshausen rail station is only 1 km away.

Everything for sustainability: GreenSpace+

We are also implementing our GreenSpace+ sustainability strategy at the Eppertshausen Logistics Centre – we take care of making our properties green so that our partners can focus on making them their own.

The modern LED-based lighting system helps to save energy. In future, the emissions from running the site will be reduced by a photovoltaic system on the roof. Thanks to smart meters, our partners always have a full overview of their energy consumption and can cut energy costs and conserve resources. Charging points for electric vehicles and e-bikes will be installed on the site before the end of 2022. Our goal is to develop and offer carbon-neutral logistics properties.

With GreenSpace+, however, we go beyond achieving carbon neutrality. Notable examples in this context include efficient water management. The landscaping of the outdoor areas and the green roofs are designed to ensure biodiversity. The beehives on the site are another plus in this regard.

On account of these sustainability features, the Eppertshausen Logistics Centre has already been awarded the Gold Certificate of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
