Photovoltaics cut energy costs
Goodman is updating its existing sites on a continuous basis to safeguard their sustainability. This is also true for the Koblenz I Logistics Centre. This year, we will be upgrading the property with a powerful solar plant on the roof. This will provide power for our customers' energy requirements, while surplus energy will be fed into the public grid.

Intelligent measuring systems (SMART meters) will also be retrofitted so that energy consumption can be tracked on a continuous basis. Charging facilities for electric vehicles are also being installed. This means that our customers will not only be able to reduce their energy costs, but also implement their sustainability goals. The energy-efficient LED lighting has a role to play in this too. The Koblenz I Logistics Centre has achieved DGNB Gold certification thanks to this sustainability upgrade.

The Koblenz I Logistics Centre offers just under 8,000 m2 of hall and mezzanine warehouse space. There are also 657 m2 of office and social space. Six loading gates with dock levellers ensure smooth shipment turnarounds.
