METRO set to expand as it moves into the largest logistics centre in Europe developed by Goodman Group
International logistics service provider HEINRICH DEHN has moved into a new logistics property in Hamburg’s Altenwerder freight village (GVZ): the Goodman Hamburg II Logistics Centre. As an expert for contract, food and reverse logistics, HEINRICH DEHN has taken 5,600 sqm in a modern sustainable property in a strategic location. Goodman is developing additional warehouse space in the area to cater for the high demand, now that this building is 100% leased.
The Goodman property group is responding to ongoing high demand for logistics space and properties in eastern Germany, and is ramping up its activities at the Star Park in Halle (Saale). Goodman has secured additional landbank in the industrial estate close to Leipzig and is now offering a logistics site with an area of up to 35,000 sqm. Star Park is familiar territory to Goodman: the developer and manager has already built properties there for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and eBay
Goodman Group, the one of the largest integrated property groups that owns, develops and manages industrial property and business space globally, has signed a long-term strategic co-operation agreement with SF Express, a Shenzhen-headquartered domestic and international express delivery service, to provide warehouse facilities both in China and abroad.
Global property group Goodman is developing a 31,600 sqm logistics centre for Lesara in Erfurt freight village in Germany. Lesara is a rapidly growing online shop for fashion and lifestyle products. The Berlin-based company has signed a ten year lease to enable it to consolidate its logistics network and facilitate further growth throughout Europe. The construction began at the beginning of October with the handover planned for 2018.

Home24, Europe’s largest online furniture store, started operations today at a new 60,000 sqm logistics centre in Walsrode, which has been developed by leading global property group Goodman. All of Home24’s European target markets will be supplied from the location in Lower Saxony, with customers benefiting from greater product availability and shorter delivery times.
