Monday, 01 January 0001

Developed by Goodman, the Eppertshausen Logistics Centre south of Frankfurt has now been leased on a long-term basis to a sole partner, having previously been occupied by multiple customers.

 Eppertshausen Logistics Centre

Situated in the middle of the triangle formed by Frankfurt, Darmstadt and Aschaffenburg, Eppertshausen is ideally located for logistics operations within the rapidly growing economic environment of the Rhine-Main region. A good reason for Goodman to develop its state-of-the-art Eppertshausen Logistics Centre there. Comprising two bays of approximately equal size, the facility boasts 17,000 sqm of total floor space, including office and social areas. “Having previously had two tenants using the property, we’re now delighted to host one partner in both units as part of a long-term lease,” says Dr. Denise Schönfeld, Lead Link for Asset & Property Management at Goodman Germany.

Perfectly positioned within the Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region
Eppertshausen is perfectly positioned within the Rhine-Main metropolitan region, with quick access to the A3 autobahn and three major federal roads. Frankfurt am Main airport, and the city of Frankfurt are also just 30 minutes away, and there are convenient rail connections to local and long-distance transport routes. Another appealing aspect of the location is its catchment area; 5.7 million people in 2.9 million households are just one hour's drive away by truck.

Sustainability, biodiversity, and well-being
Goodman is committed to sustainability in the way it deploys its resources and interacts with the environment. Consequently, both partners have agreed to adopt a particularly sustainable approach to managing the Eppertshausen Logistics Centre. For instance, the property will switch in full to energy-saving LED lighting and charging points will be installed for electric vehicles.

The outdoor facilities will be upgraded to provide a more pleasant environment for employees to enjoy, for example, during breaks. Beehives have also been installed as a means of helping to safeguard biodiversity and protect bees.

GreenSpace+ is the sustainability vision we’ve developed here at Goodman, and it encompasses far more than just climate neutrality.”, says Dr. Denise Schönfeld, “We’re always thrilled when customers are on the same wavelength as us in this regard and we can work together to make the world that little bit better.”
