The municipality of Seevetal belongs to the district of Harburg in Lower Saxony and thus to the immediate periphery of the Hamburg metropolitan region. Our new building is located in the Seevetal industrial park at Beckedorfer Bogen and will in future grace its entrance as a state-of-the-art and sustainable new development. Spread over two construction phases, a total of approx. 41,000 m² of rental space will be developed. The first construction phase, with a total leasable area of approx. 31,000 m², has already been let. In the further course of the project, a further 10,000 m² of rental space will be created in two hall sections. The spaces can be rented both contiguously and individually.

The special feature of a light industrial park is that various industrial companies from one or more sectors can operate on one site and ideally benefit from each other in terms of synergies and expansion opportunities.

The Seevetal location is ideal for medium-sized companies that seeking to combine office, production, warehouse and possibly a sales area under one roof. Products for import and export can be acquired and distributed within a short distance via the main route of the Port of Hamburg.
With three dock levellers per unit, fast loading and unloading of vans and trucks is possible and "last mile delivery" is no longer wishful thinking, but rather reality!

The Hamburg South Light Industrial Park impresses with its excellent infrastructural connections both for the movement of goods and for all employees on site. During breaks, the well-known organic bakery Bahde and Bogenküche are within walking distance for breakfast and lunch.

    Perfect transport links

A bus stop is located directly on the property. The bus to Hamburg-Harburg railway station leaves every 20 minutes with a well-frequented S-Bahn connection to Hamburg's city center. Hittfeld railway station is a 10-minute drive away. Once an hour, a train departs from here to Hamburg city centre. By car, the municipality of Seevetal and the Hanseatic city of Hamburg are easily accessible via the A7, A1 and A261 motorways.

Important production sites for the automotive and aviation industries, such as the Mercedes plant (approx. 9 km / 15 min) and the Airbus plant (approx. 19 km / 30 min) are immediately nearby. The same applies to the Port of Hamburg with its shipbuilding industry (approx. 10 km / 20 minutes). The southern urban area of Hamburg (south of the Elbe) is closely intertwined with industry. The import of raw materials via the Port of Hamburg and their processing and finishing for the domestic market or export originally formed the basis for the development of production facilities in Hamburg and the metropolitan region.

    • Sustainable design in a class of its own

When designing our properties, we pay the utmost attention to sustainable construction with an attractive design.

      • Attractive colour concept with wooden elements
      • High-quality office equipment
      • Daylight domes
      • LED lighting concept
      • Cosy break areas for maximum relaxation
        • Comprehensive approach to sustainability: GreenSpace+

GreenSpace+ is Goodman's sustainability concept that applies to all our properties, including the new Hamburg South Light Industrial Park development. Our motto: we take care of making our logistics properties green, so that our partners can focus on making them their own.

          • DGNB platinum certification
          • Efficient water management
          • LED Illumination
          • SMART Metering
          • PV system on the roof
          • EV charging for e-cars and bikes
          • Rainwater cistern for watering the green areas
          • Planting concept suitable for species protection

GreenSpace+ includes a range of different measures that help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while the logistics property is running. For example, energy is saved thanks to efficient LED lighting, and, at the same time, electricity is produced for consumption on site by the installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof.
Furthermore, the property does not use gas radiators for heating, as is usually the case in the industry, but instead uses modern heat pump technology. Smart meters also help our customers to monitor their consumption, thereby reducing energy costs and conserving resources. Efficient water management is implemented by means of cisterns.
The site's urban location and excellent connections to the local public transport network, as well as the provision of covered bicycle parking, promote climate-friendly mobility for employees on site. Charging points for electric vehicles also contribute to greater sustainable accessibility of the site.
On account of these features, the Hamburg South Light Industrial Park is to be awarded the Platinum Certificate of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
We can safely say that our light industrial park in Seevetal is another expression of the Goodman philosophy.
We create future-proof logistics spaces that help our partners make even their plans a reality – while minimising the impact on our environment. To put it another way: "Making space for greatness"!
