In view of The Mousquetaires Group's growing storage needs, Goodman developed a modern logistics centre in Swadzim near Poznan in 2015.
The Mousquetaires Group is the largest franchise network in Poland in the segment of general supermarkets and “house and garden” stores. In view of growing storage needs, the Group launched a modern logistics centre in Swadzim near Poznan in 2015.
The facility was adjusted for storing and distributing foodstuffs in controlled temperatures (fresh products, vegetables, fruit, frozen products) and is the distribution centre for both the Intermarche general supermarkets as well as Bricomarche “house and garden”. The centre is also adjusted for storing seasonal products and oversized products. It is fully automated and managed in real time.

Goodman developped a new central food storage and distribution centre with integrated office facilities for the largest franchising chain in the category of grocery and ‘DIY’ supermarkets the Mousquetaires Group in Poland. The storage area includes freezing and cooling facilities.
In addition to the new development, Goodman acquired the company’s existing storage and office properties. The overall transaction covers a total of 127,885 sqm of logistics and office space and will enable the efficient exchange of the companies’ current properties for modern, high-quality facilities.

The Mousquetaires Group decided on Goodman because of its flexibility demonstrated by acquiring the company’s existing properties. Of equal importance was Goodman’s highly skilled team that provided Intermarché with technical support throughout the entire process.
Co-operation between Goodman and the Mousquetaires Group is a unique example of a complex transaction between a property developer and investor and its customer.
