Thanks to its efforts in recent months, an extensive network, and a wealth of experience in leasing properties, the Asset & Property Management team at Goodman Germany has achieved the key objective of zero vacancies by the end of the last financial year.

The German portfolio comprising of around 60 locations with over two million square metres of rental space has now been leased in full. The logistics properties are situated in core locations and maintained to a high-quality by our own Asset & Property Management team, who provide the best possible service. Customers include major players from the e-commerce, logistics, automotive and food sectors. Contracts with many existing partners have been renewed early and on a long-term basis in recent months.

"We also welcomed several new customers, with whom we’ve latterly signed the first lease agreements,” says Dr. Denise Schönfeld, Lead Link for Asset & Property Management at Goodman Germany. “We look forward to working together for many years, perhaps also in any of our future developments projects.”

Goodman Germany’s Asset & Property Management department has been experiencing solid growth since summer 2021, with the team having doubled in size since then. Bringing commercial and technical support, property accounting and accountancy support roles together under one roof, it offers partners an all-in-one service.

Goodman is also continuing to invest in the sustainability of its own assets.
Following its "own. manage. develop" business model, Goodman tailors its portfolio for long-term use and future requirements. In the last financial year, for example, Goodman was able to triple the previous number of installed megawatt peaks (MWp) in Germany through ongoing photovoltaic projects. This financial year, a further doubling of installed capacity is targeted. In the coming years, the assets will also be further equipped with electric charging stations, smart metering, LED lighting and sustainable, bio-diverse outdoor areas.  Denise Schönfeld adds: “We’ve opted for a high-quality portfolio that we intend to manage on a full-occupancy basis for many years to come.”
